Your itinerary begins with an early morning transfer from your Zanzibar accommodation to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport for a scheduled flight destined for Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your dedicated safari guide and embark directly on a morning game drive, traversing the park’s diverse plains and riverine landscapes in search of elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and, if fortunate, the elusive African wild dog. At midday, you will enjoy a bush lunch at a scenic site or designated lodge within the park, allowing time to unwind while surrounded by the natural environment. The afternoon is dedicated to a second game drive along the Rufiji River, well-known for its hippos, crocodiles, and prolific birdlife. As the day concludes, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar, with a hotel transfer arranged upon arrival.
