The late afternoon is prime for spotting predators as they become active, as well as herds of elephants moving toward the river. Return to camp at sunset for dinner and your first night in the wild.

After an early breakfast, head out for a full-day game drive to explore Ruaha’s varied terrain. The park’s vast size means you can venture far from the crowds, encountering giraffes on the plains, hippos in the river, and antelope species like sable and roan in the woodland. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed in a scenic location before continuing your game viewing into the afternoon. By evening, return to camp for a hot shower, a cold drink by the fire, and a freshly prepared dinner.
