Lake Manyara is best known for its tree-climbing lions and the thousands of vibrant flamingos that line the lake’s shores. Climate and Best Time to Visit
The park enjoys warm temperatures year-round, averaging around 35°C (95°F) during its hottest months—September, October, and January. Rainfall is seasonal, with two wet periods bringing short afternoon or evening thunderstorms in November-December and March-May. The drier months of June to October and January to February are ideal for game viewing.
